The Breed

Overview

Developed in the Scottish Highlands to retrieve from rugged terrain and cold water, the Golden combined a lustrous coat with an exceptionally willing, soft-mouthed nature. That origin still shapes the breed: a Golden is a cooperative worker that reads people well and wants to please.
